About Us

The Newton Taxpayers Association is made up of hundreds of people from all parts of Newton, all walks of life, and all political persuasions. Founded in 1936, we've acted as a fiscal watchdog in good times and bad. We represent the average person - not the political establishment or the special interests. (That's why many of them sometimes don't like us!) But in that respect, we represent far more people than any other group in town!
